i just bought this strange fruit at a farmer's market in san diego, the green cherimoya won't be ripe for 2 days I can't wait to try it, it smells very sweet

I'm in love with the Umbra floating bookshelves I got over the holidays. I put them up right beneath my floating lampshade, which I made by just mounting a plain lightbulb extension cord to the ceiling and threading through my simple white lampshade.

I'd like to try making more myself, I do like how my store-bought ones have this little flap underneath that lets you put the cover of the bottom book over the shelf to completely conceal it.

It's a delicious white christmas here in minnesnowta, x-country skiing with mom and VHS home movie watching with dad. Pretending to help bake family recipes is harder than it looks, maybe i'll learn a few. I'm finally starting to develop nostalgic pangs for my quaint historical hometown.
